CBSE 10th Compartment Exam 2024: Compartment exam will be held from July 15

CBSE 10th Result 2024: CBSE Board has released the class 10th result. Class 10th students can check their results by visiting the official website. This time 87.98% children have passed class 12th. Students can check their results by visiting the official website of CBSE Board Results (results.cbse.nic.in).

Passing percentage:

This year the CBSE Board Class 10th result has been 93.60 percent. The board has released the results of both classes today itself. The passing percentage of 10th is higher than that of 12th.

This year girls have performed better than boys in class 10th. This year the pass percentage of girls is 2.04% more than that of boys. The overall passing percentage of girls is 94.75% and that of boys is 92.71%.

Minimum marks to pass the 10th exam

The minimum marks to pass the 10th exam have been fixed by the board, according to which, students are required to score at least 33 marks out of total 100 marks in each subject. There will be an external exam of 80 marks, and an internal assessment of 20 marks. It is also mandatory to pass the internal assessment. To avoid failure, it is necessary to score minimum marks.

Compartment exam for failed students:

Students who fail in two out of five subjects can appear for compartment exam. Also, it is necessary to pass all the subjects of internal assessment. After failing in more than two subjects in the external exam and even one subject in the internal assessment, you will not be allowed to appear in the compartment exam.

The number of students placed in compartment (complete subjects) in CBSE 10th result has decreased from 134774 (6.22 per cent) in 2023 to 132337 (5.91 per cent) this year.

  2. Then, click on the ‘Main Website’ option on the homepage.
  3. Go to the ‘Latest @ CBSE’ section and find the link ‘CBSE Compartment Time Table 2024’.
  4. CBSE compartment exam date sheet will be displayed on your screen.
  5. Download and take a print out for future reference.

According to the new rules of the board, from this year onwards neither distinction, nor division nor grade will be given to the students. No merit list of any kind will be issued. The board has decided that this year the name of the topper will not be announced, but despite all this, there is a rule for minimum marks.
