2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE Class: German luxury car manufacturing company Mercedes-Benz has launched the facelift version of the GLE SUV and C43 facelift in the Indian market. The car has three powertrain options including one petrol and two diesel engines. The Mercedes AMG C43 has been presented as a more practical 4-door sedan instead of giving it a coupe style.

The facelift model of this will compete with the BMW X5, Audi Q7 and Volvo XC90. While the C43 model will compete with the Audi S5 Sportback and BMW 3 Series M340i. 1. Engine Options
The international version of the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE comes with multiple powertrain options, including petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid options. But, in the Indian market, it has been launched with one petrol and two diesel engine options only.
All three engines are tuned with a 9-speed automatic gearbox. Whereas, to increase the mileage, like the current model, a 48-watt mild hybrid system has been provided.

2. Interior design and features
Mercedes-Benz GLE has a new steering wheel with touch-haptic controls. Apart from this, a 12.3-inch integrated infotainment display has been provided, which runs on Mercedes’ new MBUX system. For passenger safety, it has been provided with 9 airbags, a 360-degree camera, traction control, park assist and many ADAS features like blind spot monitoring and autonomous emergency braking.

3. Exterior Design
The front of the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV has a new single-slat grille and newly designed headlights, along with a redesigned front bumper. New design tail lamps and bumpers have been provided in the rear. The side profile of the car comes with 20-inch alloy wheels as standard, while wheels up to 22-inch are optional.

The new Mercedes-Benz GLE has been introduced in three variants:
- GLE 300D 4Matic
- GLE 450D 4Matic
- GLE 450 4Matic.
What is the price of the Mercedes-Benz GLE?
Its starting ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 96.40 lakh. At the same time, the price of GLE 450D 4Matic is Rs 1.10 crore and the top variant GLE 450 4Matic is priced at Rs 1.15 crore (ex-showroom). The ex-showroom price of the Mercedes AMG C43 has been kept at Rs 98 lakh.
Car Delivery
The company has started taking bookings for both models. Deliveries of the Mercedes-Benz GLE 300d and GLE 450 variants will begin this festive season, while deliveries of the GLE 450d variant will begin in the first quarter of 2024.
